This English Oak Beam Mantel is kiln dried and planed all round to a smooth finish.  

The beam in the picture is the beam you will receive.  Fixings not included.

Made from kiln dried, English Oak, this beam is perfect for finishing to your own taste and style, and for you to select which side of the beam you prefer.

Hand selected from our stock of kiln dried oak beams, then planed all round to give a crisp, sharp contemporary look.

Oak is a natural product and you may see some movement, extra splits or cracks appear as the beam acclimatises to the temperature of your home, but this is completely normal and not a defect.  It is something that makes each beam unique and adds to its beauty.

Our rustic oak beams may include knots, splits, waney edges and possibly a small amount of insect holes which adds to its character.

Please remove the beams from their packaging on receipt to allow them to breathe and acclimatise, and we recommend fitting your beam in place within 1-2 weeks to limit movement
