Technical Specifications:

Each beam is planed all round and sanded to a smooth finish, ready for installation.

Please note the sizes listed are before planing and the finished size will be up to 20mm (3/4 inch) smaller.  If you require a bespoke size, please message us with your requirements.

Installation: The smooth finish makes this beam easy to work with for both professional installers and experienced DIY enthusiasts.  If you require hidden fixings, please select this option when choosing your mantel.  Please note, holes will not be drilled in to the back of the beam, leaving the customer to decide where these should be placed.

Finish: Sanded to a smooth finish with rounded over edges.  Danish Oil applied.

Oak is a natural product and each piece is unique and may include knots, splits and a small amount of insect holes.  You may see some movement as the beam acclimatises to the temperature of your home, this is completely normal and adds to its beauty.
